 T2120 deep hole drilling and boring machine is used for machining cylindrical deep-hole workpiece,f or drilling,for boring,for step hole and blind hole,for grinding and rolling.
For the method of boring,it can be pushing boring and pulling boring.
For the method of scraps removing,while drilling,it adopts BTA;while boring,it adopts BTA or removing ahead.

3.Appearance and constructure See the fig.

5.loading and chucking of the workpiece
The front end of the workpiece can be centered  tightly by inner taper plate( provide for oneself),the users can also use the other methods to fix the workpiece.if you use the other types collets,you can refer to the fig.3 for connecting .
The tail end of the workpiece is centered tightly with Model 25060 taper plate which mounted on the Oil feeder , at the same time,the plate act as the seal.
It should use  steady rests for the middle of the workpiece,for long,thin workpieces,2-3.average distance for the steady rests,the position which touch the  steady rest, should be machined,and center  with the two ends.
If the user adopt pulling boring, then no centered with the Oil feeder (adjust the decompress valve to 0)
6. Function and structure of the Main parts
1)Bed
The bed of the machine is consist of several sub-beds,cross side of the bed see fig5
One of The guide way is  arris shape, the other is rectangular, so the carrying capacity is large, guiding accuracy is better. the guideway is quenched, so with long endurance.
At the middle of the bed guideway ,mounted  the feeding screw rod,t he screw rod is also consist of several sub-screw rods,the two ends supported by supporters, between the two ends ,there are several brackets for assistant supporting.
There is a 'T"shape slot On the bed ,which is mounted by position fixing carriages which fix the  position of drilling bar suppoter .
2)Headstock
Transmission system of headstock and rolling bearings distribution see Fig 2,rotate speed changes by the mesh of the related gears .
The front supporting uses double cylindrical roller bearing which inner hole is with taper,which can adjust spindle's speed accuracy.the back of the spindle is single direction thrust ball beating and taper roller bearing,which   make the spindle can support  the axial forces comes from positive and negative direction.
The cooling and lubricating of the spindle box is carried out by oil pump motor which is behind the bed,the pump motor supply the oil to the spindle box,and the oil is distributed to gears and bearings,then reflow to the oil box.
The chuck is mounted to the spindle, there is big square hole in the chuck which is for loading and unloading and adjusting the tool.
3)Carriage (including fixture of drilling bar and boring bar)
The constructure of the carriage see fig 6.
fixture of drilling bar and boring bar are fixed to the carriage, which is connected with the drilling and boring bars by lock sleeves.the dia.of the lock sleeves are designed according to the OD of the bars.
When feeding,the feeding box drives the screw rod for rotation,this makes the nut   which is fixed together with the worm wheel moving with axial direction,this drives the carriage feeding.
When carriage rapid speeding,the rapid motor behind the carriage drives the sub-worm wheel,this drives the worm wheel nut rotating,and drives the carriage for rspid movement.
When manually operating,push the handspike and make the two gears with 2x17 meshed together,turning the hand wheel for driving the sub-worm wheel,so drive the nut rotating,and these make the carriage for axial movement.manual and automatic have jiggle switch for locking each other.
4.Feed box
The feed box is mounted to the end  of the bed,drived by AC servo motor,output speed is 0.5-80r/min,stepless.the transmission system and bearings distributing see the fig2.
5.Steady rest
With the aid of the two idler wheels which are mounted with rolling bearings, The Steady rest is used for supporting the workpiece ,  the nether two idler wheels are on the bracket,the bracket moving along the guideway,the two front and behind brackets can move at the same time by the positive and negative screw rods,the brackets should be concentric by adjusting sleeve ,after adjusting,the brackets and the leader should be fixed by screws.concentric
6.Oil feeder
The constructure of the Oil feeder  is shown in fig 7.
Function of the Oil feeder
(1)Filling coolant to the workpiece ,at the same time sealing it.
(2)Supporting the drilling bar and boring bar.
(3)Drilling head and boring head   guiding.
(4)Supporting and fixing against the workpiece.
(5)Fixing the bed.
At the back of the Oil feeder ,is a oil- carrying pipe comes from the cooling pump,coolant enters into the machining area from Oil feed .
At the head of the Oil feeder ,is a taper plate ,the No is 25060A,which is for supporting and chucking the workpiece.it is connected with the workpiece by 300 angle,
The plate tip against the workpiece tightly by the force generate from the hydraulic cylinder mounted at the back of the Oil feed .
In the taper plate is a guiding sleeve ,No is 25063A, which is used for drilling (boring) head guiding, changing tools must change the sleeve,while inner dia.of the workpiece isφ180mm-φ200mm,25063A is not available,but use 25025A,at the same time,changing tools must change the sleeve.
At the tail of the Oil feeder  is a taper sleeve holder (the No is 12012).and a taper sleeve(N o is 12023),which is used for supporting the drilling(boring) bars.after the taper sleeve wear and tear,or vibrating in machining,adjusting the screw nut 12022.
Under the Oil feeder ,two ends of the carriage have one hydraulic cylinder each,can clamp and fix the bed from four spots at the same time.
At the front side of the Oil feeder ,is the button board and instruments,almost include all the control buttons for controling the works of the machine.   therefore,  the Oil feeder  is also engine bed's operating center, after the hydraulic pump starts, presses down the clamping- button, may realize the automatic circulation of the Oil feeder  clamping the bed and fixing the workpiece.press the loosen button,the taper plate moves back and the Oil feed  loosens,so may move the the Oil feed  manually.
In stated machining range,the users can select  the dimension of the drilling(boring) bars according to their request,and make the related parts by themselves.
7.Drilling and boring support
Drilling and boring support is acting as the assistant support for supporting the drillling and boring bars.for slim and long bars,should add the numbers of the support,the support moves along the guideway by the carrige's movement,it also moves by manually.
8.Motor Device
Motor device is the main driving device of the machine,see fig 8.Turn the screw at the fixing seat of the motor,makes the seat moves together with the screw,this may adjust the tightness and looseness of the triangle belt.
